Born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri, my journey started with a Casio keyboard at age 10 and a family steeped in rhythm. Music was my first language, shaped by early days on the drums and a deep love for the piano. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of collaborating with incredible artists and releasing music that reflects where I’ve been and where I’m headed. But music is just one piece of the story.
I’ve always been captivated by the endless ways we as humans can create. From sound to style, visual arts to storytelling, there’s a world of expression that inspires me daily. This space is a reflection of that fascination—a place to explore not just what I make, but what I discover.
Here, you’ll find glimpses of my music, alongside thoughts on design, fashion, and the art that moves me. It’s a collection of ideas, projects, and inspirations—things that fuel my creativity and remind me why I love what I do. Whether it’s a melody, a photograph, or a new perspective, I hope what I share here resonates with you, sparks your curiosity, or simply makes you feel something. After all, isn’t that what art is all about?
Finding Balance on the Path
There was a time when I felt stuck, as though creativity had abandoned me. Anxiety and depression weighed me down, leaving little room for inspiration. Life piled on more—aging, family, responsibilities—and the struggle to balance it all made me feel like my creative spark was slipping away. But through the haze, I discovered something simple yet profound: balance isn’t found in a sudden breakthrough; it’s built one small step at a time.
In The Path by Konosuke Matsushita, there’s a powerful truth: great things are achieved by aligning with the natural rhythm of life. Creativity and fulfillment don’t come from forcing or rushing; they emerge when we work with life, not against it. I began to see my creative journey not as a sprint, but as a path to walk with patience and presence.
Meditation taught me to quiet the noise and reconnect with my inner self. Exercise reminded me that movement fosters momentum, not just in the body but in the mind. Socializing showed me that connection with others could reignite my energy and ideas. And I learned to embrace incremental work—two minutes of effort is infinitely better than none. These small actions became tools that unlocked my creativity, even on days when it felt impossible.
I’ve come to understand that being who you want to be isn’t about grand gestures. It’s about making peace with where you are, finding joy in the small victories, and showing up for yourself each day. If you’ve ever felt like I did—trapped between life’s demands and your creative dreams—I want, you to know that you can find balance. The path forward is not perfect, but it is yours. Take it one step at a time. You are capable, even in your smallest moments.
So, here’s my hope: that you embrace your journey and trust that every effort, no matter how small, matters. Let’s walk this path together.
